  • Photos captured via the device camera or selected from the photo library.
  • Used solely for attaching evidence to incident reports, check-in/out records, and patrol activity logs

NFC Tag Data

  • Unique identifiers (UIDs) of NFC tags scanned at patrol checkpoints
  • Used solely to verify that a guard physically tapped the correct checkpoint at a given time
  • We do not read, write, or modify any other data on NFC tags
  • We do not collect identifiers from NFC-enabled credit cards, passports, transit cards, or personal devices

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

  • Provide and operate our services
  • Manage security operations and guard activities
  • Communicate with users, including support and updates
  • Improve app functionality and performance
  • Ensure safety, compliance, and fraud prevention

On mobile devices, authentication tokens are stored using the device’s secure keychain (iOS Keychain or Android Keystore) and are never stored in plain text.

However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Account deletion request:
To request deletion of your account, email admin@accordsecurity.com.au with the subject line “Account Deletion Request” from the email address registered to your account. We will process the request within 30 days and confirm by email when complete. Some data may be retained where required by law.

7. Third-Party Services

We use the following categories of third-party services to operate the Service:

  • Cloud hosting (Vercel) — hosts the backend API and web dashboard
  • Database (MongoDB Atlas) — stores account, patrol, checkpoint, and report data
  • File storage (Vercel Blob) — stores photos uploaded with reports
  • Email delivery — sends account, support, and notification emails

Each provider operates under its own privacy policy. We do not share patrol data with advertising networks, social platforms, or third-party analytics services that profile users for marketing.

8. Children’s Privacy

Our Service is not intended for individuals under 13 (or applicable local age). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
